Why it doesn't pay to fly cheap...
Sweet merciful crap and total frustration...I have exactly 23 days to figure out how my friend Whitney & I are going to rebook our entire flight itinerary for our vacation to Arizona & California, now that Western Airlines suddenly shut down because of cash flow issues & screwed up the blissfully cheap, convenient, direct reservations that we had out of Bellingham. They keep saying that they're going to start flying again soon, but now with the combination of spring break & Mariners spring training in Phoenix it's nearly impossible to get tickets at such short notice, so now I'm stuck with flying out of SeaTac at a minimum of $350 with layovers, lousy departure/arrival times that threaten to cancel my trip to Sea World, yada, yada, yada. In other words, yes, I'm pissed, and coming from me that isn't a happy picture. This is what happens when I bother to actually take time off work & use my annual vacation time six weeks before Holland Days and book on a low-cost, new airline...GRRR...:(
