(no subject)
so much has been going on lately. very busy, hectic, trying, etc.,
i have decided that i am quite possibly the whiniest pregnant person i have ever met. i hate being pregnant with a passion beyond words. i hate that when i lie down at night, its like someone inflates me with air. laying down does not help my swelling, i swear it makes it worse. i thought maybe it was warm in my room and that was making it worse, so i've had the air on 75. and anyone who spends anytime at my house know the air generally doesn't go below 80. that doesn't help. i'm big and swelly, i look like a puffer fish. i don't like not being able to have the energy to do everything with jakie. just a big fat booo on being pregnant. this is exactly why i swore i'd never get pregnant again. not the kid factor, but the being pregnant factor. poor beth gets emails every day loaded with whining!!! tubes will be tied this time so no more pregnancies or chances of getting pregnant.
i have started the financial planning of having two kids in daycare, the costs, etc., chris and i were in a bit of sticker shock last night discussing it. i didn't realize that extended day for the elementary aged kids would cost so much. $136 a week. that is more than what we pay for his before/after school care now in vpk. jillians daycare will be $150 a week, but we have been ready for that one.
my sister has moved in, and moved out in the last month. she's back home wtih my parents, it was just too much for my little house.
i have gallstones and have dealt with that a little bit, they aren't big ones the tech said, but they are big enough to get painful, and they have, but only a few times. we'll deal with that after i have the baby if i even have to deal with them.
work has been very busy, i'm keeping up good, they are glad for that and are very understanding when i leave at 4:45 to pick jakie up some days, and were understanding when i didn't come in this past saturday b/c my swelling was bad. good people here, i'm very happy here.
i had tile put in the house, in the kitchen/dining area and i can't believe the difference it has made. the nursery is basically done, i need to put up the valances. i have the theme gossamer wings from babies r us if anyone wants to see it.
um... i think that is about it. life has been very busy lately. but things seem to be getting into more of a normal pattern. jakie is wonderful, as always. can count by 2's, 5's, 10's, and can add basic numbers. can read some words and is getting better with his writing (he types better than he writes). he's ready for baby sister to be here so mommy can pick him up again. he has alotted a place for the baby on our bed for snuggle time (that doesn't get in his way of his place on mommy's lap, but gets baby in mommy's lap too).
chris is getting ready for fishing season, so he is busy on top of lots of other stuff. we are all ready for the baby tho.
