good lord, i am posting. It's been quite a while and it seems that the only time i actually post is when it's been this long. whatever, i shouldn't try and rationalize my thinking.
It's summer, it's actually the second week of freedom and its gone well so far. I've babysat, which im not so upset about as I read my last entry, I've gotten a tan(i'll be as dark as rocio and rogelio yet!!), I've been jet skiing, I've seen Harry Potter, with the person whose company I enjoy the most, and today i took the SATs. All of the crap about TAG not being a "real high school experience" is still all true but I appreciate it now more than ever having been inside my would-be home school...Woodrow Wilson, the Wildcats. Enough said.
I'm actually excited about next year. Senior year. I'm not quite sure why I'm so excited but stereotypically, senior year is one of the most memorable and I'm praying that at least one exciting thing will happen over the course of those 9 months. I should probably start lowering my hopes now so they'll be gone by the time school starts, huh?
I think Sarah once said that country music lyrics are some of the better in comparison, and I have to agree. For one, my favorite song is country; it's horribly cliche and sappy but nevertheless. Second, the word "dance" is not only in the title but repeated often throughout the song. Third, I think any woman who has carried the name Lee Ann Womack for thirty-somethin years is awesome. Sorry for the random tangent, but hey, what can I do?
Oh, and I watched a fence being built, I could exaggerate and say that I helped but that's too far-fetched, I merely witnessed while swinging in a hammock. Good day.....
