DIY Dress

So I've decided I am going to make my dress for the photoshoot! Im super excited about it. This is very ambitious for me because I have only ever made small items. So my character is Ruby for the Ballet Jewels. Some info I found on the general costume for this character is: "Fabric that is flared at the hips of both men and women in Rubies". Im going to make my dress flare at the hips and in a deep ruby color. Im going to try and find a lace to match. The whole design Im going to try and keep simple. Th accessories will have ruby jewels to add a regal effect.

*Update-> I found a perfect dress so i will not be making my outfit for the event.
