When lizards are all you got to keep you entertained...

So the excitement of the past two days is that Leda tracked down a lizard in our parkinglot and chased it halfway around the complex, giving me a pretty good drag. That was one fast f-ing lizard, by the way. Also, some guy followed me while I was walking Leda. He was drinking a coffee. I didn't notice him until he said "Cat's are better." That's all he said. But he kept following me until I finally stopped and sat down. Weirdness.

One thing about not knowing anybody in town is that you have to come up with lots of ways to entertain yourself. Or else you'd go crazy. Luckily, I think I'm fairly good at this. I think it comes from growing up in the country and not having cable or TV or computers when I was a kid. Maybe. Anyway... I added yet another thing to the website, www.myworldmybyline.com/worksinprogress.html . The website makes me feel like I'm not just watching TV all day. Also, doing that instead of painting makes for less clean-up in the end (I spent five HOURS cleaning this place yesterday... no way am I taking out the paints for awhile).

I have to write a letter to Steve. He sent Mark and me some certificates to Cold Stone in the mail awhile ago, and I purposefully didn't email him to thank him, because I wanted to send him a letter to thank him because I thought it would mean a little more than just an email, and then I wrote him a letter, never got quite around to going to the post office to mail it, and then lost the letter. This makes me a dumbass.

In fact, I'll say it again. I? Am a dumbass.

(I posted this publicly in order to remind anyone who may be checking up on my journal (not that there's anyone out there who is doing that) that they have to list me as a FRIEND in order to actually read most of my journal...)
