Plan for the day:
Scio Township meeting, horseback riding, clean out my car, work a lil, paint a lil more, then party with Andrew... and then work a lil more. There's a lot of work to be done.
Sounds like a good day, right? Tomorrow I work for 10 hours... It's been a long time since I've actually made myself suffer through an entire 10 hour shift, but hopefully the thought of a weekend off work will get me through it.
EDIT: So I fell off my horse today, going over the jump. The horse stayed on one side, I ended up landing on the top of my head on the other side. I've never fallen like that before, I'm usually pretty good about falling off to the side and landing on my shoulder/back. I probably came just a degree or two from breaking my neck, Christopher-Reeve-Style. Also, I think I did something to my leg. The good news is that I only have to wait until Oct. 1 for my insurance to kick in, so if it's not fully functional by then, I can go and have it fixed. At any rate, today I was reminded that one of the most valuable lessons I've ever learned from horseback riding is that if you fall off, you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, get back on, and try again. This lesson is directly applicable to life, but it is one I hope I do not have to apply again anytime soon. It has been a while since I've fallen off, so I suppose I was overdue.
