[This is Koishi staring out the window. She's pouting, because bawww it's cold.

Then she takes a step back and has a seat. When she speaks, she seems to be talking to herself more than to anyone listening via communicator.]

It was a lot nicer outside while the sun was always around. Now, it's just cold and uninviting... a day like this would be ( Read more... )

[The weather part caught her attention but now she's just kind of... staring. Give her a few minutes. Yup. Still staring.]

Ah-- I'm not exactly sure being underground would really help the situation.

[Oblivious!]

Sure it would! You'd just have to dig a really, really deep tunnel... and then maybe you'll get lucky and find a big open space on the way down.

It's possibly, but very unlikely. The soil here is bad enough as it is, I can't imagine actually digging will be much better. But human's also need a proper amount of sunlight in order to stay healthy.

[Nod] The sun produces vitamin D for our bodies and without it you won't be as healthy. Prolonged exposure to the dark has also been known to produce depression among people, which likely has something to do with the lack of proper vitamins.

Not me, no. One of my sister's pets got some really impressive power while we weren't looking! Then she went a little overboard with it and they had to come and stop her~

So what do the people have to do with living underground at all?

That's where we lived! All the humans stayed on the surface, of course.

Yeah! It's not that bad - me and sis kept a lot of pets since there's a lot of stray animals around. Plus, everyone in the Ancient City likes to party a lot, so it never stays quiet either.
