it's nice to be warm
today i learned the value of good wet-/cold-weather gear.
anyone who drops by nathan phillips square on new year's eve (or any time between now and then) may be interested to know that the roof structure alone took 21.5 hours to erect this year. 5hrs yesterday, and 16.5 hours today. in the freezing rain. then the regular rain. then the snow. then the wind and just-plain-cold.
but that part is over and next week is a week of lighting, most of which thankfully goes under the roof.
now i hope to catch last call somewhere before spending 3 days hangin out with family.
