I am feeling slightly off balance and it is really freaking me out because that is not a good indicator of how this semester is going to go for me. However, Laura has a theory that it's because we started classes on Tuesday, and that makes a lot of sense, so I'm going to go with that for now. Even though I'm already worrying, I will stress more if I still feel discombobulated come Monday.
I am super busy with 18 hours and lots of commitments but I am definitely equipped to handle all of it. It will be better once I get a rhythm going. I have already dropped one class, added another, dropped that one, and added a different one. All in one day, haha. I practically sprinted out of my Contemporary Poetry class.. less than 30 minutes with that professor and I just knew that there was no way I would be able to sit through his class for an entire semester. Not to mention the desk structure was definitely throwing off my groove and there was a sign language interpreter up front that was so interesting and distracting.
ANYWAY. I give tours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 2:00 on campus. I might also have to give up my internship with Skirt! for the time being, and that makes me terribly sad. Oh well, priorities are key.
I hope everybody's first week/few days have been just spectacular. I spent the last hour and a half in the library studying, so that makes me either horribly dedicated to school or horribly nerdy. You decide. Over and out.
