[Looking at one of the packages of cream.]

I think it's some sort of fashion thing.

Tch, humans and their fashion! I don't get it at all, or why women would want to smear their faces in paint. Unless they're... you know, a clown or whatever.

I always thought it was some pre-war "I can spend money for stuff to put on my face" thing.

I've yet to run into a clown. Do they wear make up a lot?

I would save up for cool glasses to put on my face. [clearly the better choice. to Terezi, anyway.]

The clown I know does! Huh, I don't think I've ever seen him without it. He takes clowning very seriously! Maybe I should buy some makeup for him... [she thinks.] Clowns like colors, probably! [and why not? she loves colors! ...never mind that Gamzee only wears purple and grey pretty much.]

[based on Terezi's perception of what a clown is, which is an impression of only one person:] They eat pie and honk horns and say 'motherfucker' a lot. I think it's part of their religion!

Hehehe, sure! Do you want to come inside? I can't actually see, so you might need to describe it all to me. [Mae might note that Terezi is leaning on a cane; she's blind.]

[Terezi falls back into the couch, making herself comfortable.] So! What's all this shit, and where does it go on your face?

Okay well first of all, there's a lot of different types you wear on your lips. Lipstick. Lots of reds and dark colours for that stuff.

And then there's powder that goes on your checks. Most of it is white, and there's some cream that looks like it's similar.

Red lipstick! [Terezi seems pretty excited.] Is there any other red makeup?

Um, there's red...blush I think it is. You put it on your cheeks. Oh and here's some red eye shadow stuff.

Aha! I want all of the red stuff you've got! That'll be perfect!

I'll pick out all the red stuff then.
