this has not been the most happy week ever.
it is a sad anniversary for a friend today.
a colleague has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, with 6 months to live.
a good friend has made it one step closer to a career in the military, and therefore deployment and risk to life and limb.
i've discovered a dear friend of mine and i have lost the connection that has kept us close for more than a decade.
altogether, it is not turning out as well as one would hope.
le sigh.
although, i am altogether more cheerful than one would think. go figure.
