(no subject)
i've become obsessed with this pete seeger album, "the bitter and the sweet" (which allmusic.com doesn't seem to think exists. odd.). I can listen to it almost anytime, and the song living in the country makes me wish i could whistle with any sort of dexterity so i could approximate it in some semblance of the original tune.
and THIS is my new kitten i don't have yet, but will be getting sooooon. name-wise i am considering both ruble (just think about mumbling that into little kitten fuzz head zomgfuzzy) and kopek. kopek has the best ring, i think. rupee was rejected as being too girly (sounds like ruby to ev-er-ee-bod-ee.) and kyat, while funny and cute, will make people think i am calling my cat "cat". aparently, kopek is also how you say 'dog' in turkish. i will have a cat named dog. awww. so cute.
