I. Hate. Scheduling.
It never, ever works out nicely.
So, by the time my time slot for registration rolled around, the only Bio class which fits with my other classes was full. I emailed the prof. to see if maybe I could possibly be in that section anyway, but the actual lab rooms are too small for more people, apparently. I tried moving around other classes. NOTHING WORKED.
Let me add that I don't even want to take this class; I'm not a bio major and have heard nothing but horror stories about this class. But it's a requirement across the board. You'd think that, as such, they'd make it available at a few more times, but no. I already had to put this class off once for scheduling problems, and here I am doing so again.
So, next year I'll be the only sophomore taking Intro to Bio. Fun fun. Oh wait, and since it's a freshie class, it'll probably conflict with my sophomore classes next year! Joy!
Also, a class which is a requirement for my major, again one which I had to put off to next semester because it didn't fit this semester, is closed too. As in, every section is already full. Again, emailing the prof., but this is just such a pain.
Since I can't fit Bio, I'm seeing if I can take Intro to Programming (another math/sci requirement class, except this one actually sounds interesting and NOT like a repeat of 10th grade... though for other students, I'm sure it is). Might as well get something out of the way.
