Scanners
:) So I was able to scan LOE's card and email her it. I was going to snail mail it, but apparently mail works really weirdly at her school.
>:| The scanner messed up some of the colors on the card. It still looks pretty good, but the pink got turned to pale grey or white, and the yellows to a sort of brownish orange. Couldn't get it to look any better on photoshop, either. Because of the way the scanner works, the paint sometimes reflects oddly and this sort of thing happens (like photographing a shining object with the flash turned on-- not a good idea). Grr. Pink, in particular, seems to be a problem color (it never scanned well at home, either). If I was better at holding a camera still, etc., then I might try taking a photo and emailing that instead.
