Summary: Kyuhyun doesn't know why he was running away, but once he does he ends up living together with twelve other guys who all have found a home together. (Sucky summary)

Once Hangeng entered the house with Heechul still attached to his arm, he was welcomed with hugs from the Haehyuk couple and then rushed to his room as they introduced themselves to Henry and took him to his new room. Sungmin and Ryeowook had put together a large dinner, so Hangeng and Henry didn’t have much time to relax before they were dragged down to dinner. Jungsu had introduced Henry to everyone and Kyuhyun was glad to find out he had some he didn’t have to call hyung, as Henry was a year younger than he was. Before anyone could leave after dinner, Youngwoon told everyone to meet in the living room.
"So why are we having a meeting?" Jungsu asked Youngwoon as they entered the room.
"Because we want to give Henry a welcoming party and a welcome home party for Hangeng hyung. But we also want to know what happened."
"Yeah, we all know you three were close friends in high school but we don’t know anything else." Sungmin added.
"And what exactly are Heechul hyung and Hangeng hyung?" Donghae continued as everyone pulled up a chair around the center of the room, while Hangeng sat on the couch with Heechul attached to his arm.
"Well I’m not sure how to answer that last one." He glanced down at his hyung, who showed no intentions of answering. "I wouldn’t mind if we were going out, especially since he decided to make out with me in the airport, but I’m not sure where our relationship stands."
"WHAT? You kissed Hangeng hyung?! And in the airport too?!" Donghae shouted, while a few of the others just seemed shocked. "Now you have to marry him!" Everyone in the room just stared over at Donghae like he was crazy.
"Donghae, if you say that, why haven’t you married Hyukie yet?" Shindong asked.
"Really, why aren’t we married yet?" He asked looking over at his lover.
"Because we’re only nineteen and you haven’t asked yet." Hyukjae explained as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Hae, Hangeng isn’t the only one I’ve kissed."
"What?"
"Yeah he’s kissed me before." Sungmin said shuddering at the memory.
"Me too. And Yunho, Jaejoong, and Kibum." Jungsu added, and Kibum nodded when his name was mentioned.
"You’re forgetting Jay and Jungmo. I kissed both of them in high school too."
"Oh right I remember that now. I think you scarred Jungmo for like a month after that, especially since you did it where most of the school could see."
"Yeah, but he got over it. Jay was cool with it when I kissed him though. Yunho just shrugged it off, but Jaejoong through a fit when I kissed Yunho, so I kissed him."
"I still don’t understand that one." Hangeng added and Heechul just shrugged.
"Why did you kiss Kibum and Sungmin then?"
"He kissed me because I went to him for advise about kissing and then he just kissed me."
"Sungmin, quit complaining about it." Sungmin huffed and crossed his arms, looking off in a different direction. "And, well, Kibum and I were drunk I think." He looked back to the younger who just nodded in confirmation.
"Okay, well that’s some interesting information, but how about what we originally wanted to know."
"Fine, since Youngwoon wants to know, I guess we’ll tell you guys about high school."
"Well I guess to start, Jungsu and I met in our first year of high school. We had gone to middle school together but never talked until he caught some of our classmates bullying me in high school. For years I was the target of bullies because I was gay, and well I look rather feminine. Jungsu saw them one day and came over to yell at them, though it didn’t do much good cause everyone knew he was bi and he wasn’t exactly the most threatening person."
"I tried helping him, but Heechul would always just brush me off afterwards until I finally got him to actually talk to me. I kind of bugged him into becoming my best friend and then I stalked him home and found out what that situation was."
"What do you mean? What was his home like?"
"My parents were horrible. They were always arguing, yelling at my noona and I. I think both of them were having affairs. Just about the only thing they didn’t do was beat us, but the emotional toll was enough for that. When noona graduated she walked out the door leaving me behind to deal with our parents alone. I’m not mad at her though, and she still keeps in touch."
"So between home and school Heechul didn’t really have a break. Our second year, Hangeng transferred from China and became a target for being Chinese and his poor Korean. He tended to just brush off the insults by acting like he didn’t know what they were saying but he found Heechul and I fighting with some guys and helped us."
"I yelled at him for helping but for some reason he just kept coming back, until one day some of the guys decided to actually start using force and he beat the shit out of them. I think it was just the shock from someone trying to physically abuse me, that I finally let Hangeng in after that, and just became attached. I stayed at his apartment most days and quite a few nights just staying out of my house as much as possible. Once we all graduated, I planned on just moving in with him, but Jungsu said I should stay with him since he and In Young noona had the house alone now, so we had Hangeng come along, and I think you guys know enough of the rest."
"I don’t think I have anything to add to that. So yeah, that’s our history." Hangeng finished and looked around at all of the house members who all seemed to be deep in thought.
"So that explains just about everything then, but let’s get out of the gloomy mood and celebrate. Everyone is home, we have a new member and Heechul and Hangeng are almost official." Jungsu said trying to brighten the mood. Everyone agreed and ran to get some soju, some games, and snacks. It didn’t take long for the group to lighten back up and start chatting and getting to know Henry better.

The following day, Jongwoon had taken Ryeowook and Kyuhyun to the amusement park in the hopes of making the younger two friends. Unfortunately once they entered the park Jongwoon received a call from his boss.
"What? Why do you have to go in?" Ryeowook asked.
"Because whoever was suppose to work today got sick with the flu, and got it from one of our coworkers who also has the flu. Someone else is on vacation, and another went down to their parents so are out of town. Apparently I’m the only one still in town who isn’t sick."
"But what are we going to do then?"
"I have to go to work now, but you guys should still just have fun."
"But hyung, we were going to have a day with just the three of us."
"Well now it will be just the two of you. You guys are here to become closer, don’t back out because I have to leave. Now just call one of the others when you’re ready to go home." Jongwoon motioned for both of them to head off into the park before waving and leaving in the opposite direction. There was an awkward silence between the two as they watched the oldest leave.
"I guess we should at least go on some rides since we’re already here. What do you want to go on first?" Kyuhyun asked his short hyung.
"Nothing. I just want to go home now." Ryeowook was obviously upset and slowly started to head towards the entrance to the park while pulling out his phone. However he didn’t get far as Kyuhyun grabbed his arm and pulled him off towards a roller coaster.
"Hyung said we should stay and get to know each other and have fun, so that’s what we’re going to do."
"What? No! Nonononono, I am not going on that roller coaster."
"Yes you are. Now come on it’ll be fun." Kyuhyun happily dragged his hyung towards the ride and luckily since they arrived pretty early there wasn’t much of a wait. To the magnae’s delight, and Ryeowook’s horror, they were placed in the front seat. Throughout the ride Ryeowook was screaming and closed his eyes, trying to imagine being anywhere but on the roller coaster. Kyuhyun was laughing when the ride ended and he helped Ryeowook out, as the older clutched onto him.
"Don’t do that again."
"Relax hyung, it’s just a ride. You need to loosen up and have some fun. How about we go on something you like this time?"
"Fine. Just because otherwise you’ll probably make me go on another roller coaster." Ryeowook led Kyuhyun towards another part of the amusement park to where some of the water rides are located. "I say this one." He said pointing to a river ride.
"Don’t you get wet on those rides?"
"Yeah. But hey you pushed me onto the roller coaster so you have to go on this one now." Ryeowook seemed pleased at the fact that Kyuhyun didn’t like the ride, as it was his turn to push the younger on a ride. Kyuhyun ended up getting the wettest out of everyone in their boat which made Ryeowook laugh, so Kyuhyun turned around and pushed the older onto another ride he wouldn’t like. The two spent a few hours taking turns forcing the other onto rides they didn’t like, of course taking a couple of food breaks, and walking back and forth across the park. By the evening, both were exhausted and they decided to relax on the ferris wheel.
"Wow the city looks really nice from up here."
"Yeah it does. I guess it’s a good thing we saved it for last so now we can see all the lights." Kyuhyun nodded as he continued to stare out the window. "So Kyuhyun, you really don’t remember what happened to you?"
"Huh?" Kyuhyun looked over to Ryeowook after being pulled from his thoughts. "Uh yeah. I remember growing up, going to school, graduating, but after that I don’t remember much just bits and pieces. When we went to the doctors, he said it was probably trauma related and I forgot everything that would remind me of whatever the event was. So we assume it has to do with something that happened after moving."
"Oh."
"Yeah, but what about you? Why are you at the house?"
"I ran away from my home."
"Why?"
"My parents were abusive. They were a lot like Heechul hyung said his were but a lot more physical. I had to be the perfect son for them. If I didn’t get an ‘A’ in all my classes, I was beaten. If I missed a note or played something wrong on the piano, I was beaten. If I didn’t wear my clothes perfectly or my room wasn’t neatly organized, I was beaten. I grew tired of it and ran away. But I wasn’t smart about it, I ran away with nothing but what I was wearing at the time, during a snowstorm. I made it to a park before I collapsed on a bench. I don’t know how long I was there until I felt a coat being wrapped around me and Jongwoon picked me up, carrying me to his car and taking me to the house. Though I was out long enough to become sick, and with all my wounds I was in really bad condition. Jongwoon was the one who was taking care of me."
"That’s why you’re so close to Jongwoon too."
"Yeah. But once I was better health wise, my parents found me again and forced me to go home with them and because they still had legal custody of me, I had to go when they called the police. But Jungsu hyung didn’t want to let me go and sued my parents and wanted to gain custody of me."
"Jungsu hyung sued your parents?" Ryeowook just nodded before continuing his story again.
"Even though Jungsu hyung fought then, I had to go back with my parents during the period. I received the worst beating during that time, but they always hit me where my clothes would cover it. I was asked to testify but they needed the proof of the beatings. Jungsu hyung convinced me into taking off my shirt and showing all the bruises from the most recent beatings at the time. They had me go to the doctors after that, a doctor I didn’t know and they didn’t tell my parents and hyung until afterwards so bribes couldn’t be made. And with the doctor’s report, Jungsu hyung won the case and is now my legal guardian."
"Whoa. I’m sorry I guess for being harsh on you earlier."
"It’s fine. It’s been a few months since then so don’t worry. Besides I was dragging you just as much."
"Yeah you pull rather hard for someone so small and frail looking." The magnae said rubbing his arm.
"Hey, you deserved it. You forced me onto that roller coaster."
"Okay, yeah I did, but you were the one who wanted to leave. I had to do something to get you to stay."
"Alright we’re even then?" Ryeowook extended his hand for Kyuhyun to shake which he did,
"Yeah, we’re even." Both then started laughing and there was no longer an awkward silence between them when the laughter died down. Once they got off the ferris wheel Ryeowook phoned the house and Siwon and Sungmin were on their way to pick them up. "So we’re cool now?"
"Yeah. I guess hyung’s plan of having us together today worked. Even if he didn’t mean for us to be alone."
"We should thank him later then." Kyuhyun chuckled and then gave Ryeowook a peck on the cheek. "It’s nice seeing you this way hyung. At home you’re always so quiet and closed off, it’s good to see you social and willing to take turns dragging me around an amusement park. Though now I understand why you’re like that." Kyuhyun flashed the shorter a smile before running of to where he saw Sungmin and Siwon pull up. Ryeowook just touched his cheek where Kyuhyun had kissed him and smiled softly to himself before heading off to the car.
A/N: Okay this was faster then I expected. which is a yay for you guys but now you still have to wait cause I haven't even written chapter 9 yet. ^^" I'm working on it. and will try to make your wait as short as I can. so stick with me.
