A little change never hurts...

After signing my contract and getting all settled on Friday, I found out today I will have a slight change in my teaching schedule.
Here was my original set-up:
1 section of regular freshmen English
1 section of honors freshmen English
3 sections of sophomore writing workshop
Haha, they kid, they kid. Here's the new (and final?) set-up:
1 section of honors freshmen English
2 sections of regular sophomore English
2 sections of sophomore writing workshop
It's still three different preps, just more literature and sophomores lol. That age is a tricky one--they think they rule the world but I'll be ready for their cocky attitudes..I hope. I'm psyched to dive into some American Lit. My students are already (hopefully) reading Catcher in the Rye (an Mb favorite) and My Antonia (which I've never read) over the summer. Since the change, I need to pick up my sophomore text to go with my "Understanding Literature" for freshmen which is already at home waiting for me.
If any ideas for classroom decor come to mind--let me know!! I need all the help I can get :)

In other news...still praying Ed gets a job SOON. I feel so awful...I hope I am not a bad gf because I got one first...
