Reunited, San and Dean reach Castiel on the television, and he instructs them to avoid Zachariah (he will return them to Earth immediately), follow the road, and the angel Joshua will take them to speak with God. The boys are somehow a part of pieces of their memories, and Dean ends up sporting a "I WUV HUGS" t shirt. They hop through their heavenly memories and talk about their past - Dean becomes annoyed when Sam's happiest memories were his time away from the family.
*Enter Zachariah*
The deceased, mullet sporting hunter Ash helps them escape and leads them into a shack which is actually The Roadhouse. He tells Sam and Dean there are a "buttload of places" in heaven, and at the center is the garden. Most people cannot leave their own personal heaven but Ash is able to travel anywhere easily using a scanner. They inquire about Ellen, Jo, and their parents but Ash has not seen them. Pamela appears, and Dean have a drink while Sam and Ash research an access to the garden.
Pamela still wants some of that Dean - they kiss.
Intending to head to the garden, they leave the bar but are instantly back home with their mother, who starts bleeding and spouting off crazy crap about never wanting Dean. Mary goes on and on about the night she died in gruesome detail - Zachariah pops out, pets Mary, and calls her a MILF. Zachariah's in the middle of a heated monologue when Joshua interrupts and says God wants to meet with Sam and Dean immediately.
Joshua takes them to the garden and tells them God has a message - "back off". God has intervened on the Winchesters behalf numerous times and is not going to do anything about the apocalypse. Dean becomes angry and is confronted with the fact he's losing faith in everything. Joshua tells them God wants them "to remember" and returns them to their bodies.
Castiel is pissed. He returns Dean's necklace, and vanishes. Sam is determined to find a way to make things right and watches as Dean tosses his necklace in the trash.
