Once upon this broken heart of mine....
So, end of the math MCAS thingie. Tomorrow, I believe, is science? And that's nothing, so I'm not worried about it. Have to stay after to retake a test for Mr. Spooner though, 'cause, yeah. I failed it, haha, along with half the class. Oh and I have drill team too. Yay....
So I skipped out of play practice today. After my mom dropped me off at the Woman's Club, I walked over to the library. Then it's time for me to call my dad and ask hiim to come get me from "practice". But I asked him if I could walk home and once, he said yes! Ah! So excited, 'cause it soooo nice out. And go figure, as I'm sneaking out of the library just as they're closing it (I befriended a janitor!!! haha I almost got locked in, according to him) and I'm heading home, I end up running into Dom's mom. We talked for about two seconds, haha, and then I started walking. Out of the corner of my eye, however, I see Dom and his dad leaving the library.......
Well, to make a long story short, they refused to let me walk and they gave me a ride home. Darn ; )
So, my parents think I'm at rehearsal, my director thinks I'm home sick, and in reality, I'm hiding out in some distant corner on the second floor reading some random book. It was actually kinda good. I'll have to go back and find it. It's by Louise Marley and I LOVE her writing;it's amazing....I want to say it was called Singer in the Snow...yeah, that's it!
