[In one of the rooms of the Starscape, Toboe is fast asleep. Stretched out on the bed, he is laying on top of the arm of his unfortunate room guest. The wolf's ears twitch in his sleep, a piece of the blanket between his teeth. He appears to be dreaming, and if the muted growls and tug of his teeth are anything to go on, he's probably dreaming of

[His eyes open slowly, revealing the outline of something strange and almost foreign to him. That's a big dog, he thinks before closing his eyes again. Dogs seemed to like him, probably because of his Fangire blood or perhaps it was something else, but instead of shying away from the beast, he moves himself toward the warm creature, settling a hand to scratch behind the dog's ears.]

[Two golden eyes opened slowly, a rumble of a growl low in his throat. His glance darts around the room, warning signs going off that this is inside and he is trapped. The wolf makes no movement to run, yet, the growl dieing out as he studies this human. Curiosity overcoming fear for the moment.]

I won't hurt you... [His voice is rather calm, different from how it usually is around humans, when it falls into a timid, soft voice. He returns to scratching the dog's ears a little before stopping and slowly pulling away.]
[Finally, he looks around to realize that this is not his room. There were no violins, no tools, no odds and ends, no strange found objects. This was very much not his room, much as the bed was not his, and the dog seemed to be no one's at all. A stray or a wild beast, maybe. Despite the odd nature of the situation, he returns his gaze to the dog.]
Are you lost, too?

[His ears twitch and he jumps off the bed, walking up to a boarded up window and scratching at it. The sounds of the sandstorm still strong outside.]

[Hesitantly, he takes a single step forward toward the stranger, his ears still slightly back. If this human was lost, then he had not captured and locked Toboe in here. Why wasn't he afraid of the wolf?]

[Slowly, he seats himself on the weathered wood floor, facing the dog-like creature. If this animal were to suddenly turn on him, he would be an easy target, but it seemed just as confused as he was, so there was a possibility that he wouldn't be attacked. Besides, the more he stared at this "dog," taking its appearance in and letting it settle into his brain, the more he was beginning to think that it might possibly be something that he really shouldn't be alone in an unfamiliar room with. His voice still soft, he asked the beast as calmly as he could, though there was a bit of a shiver to its timbre,] You're a wolf, a-aren't you...?

[Swishing his tail around once, Toboe slowly slides down until he is laying down, facing Wataru. At the word wolf, his ears perk back up. Maybe this person is smarter than he looks. At least now Toboe knows he is not being mistaken for a dog, and this serves to confuse him more.]

[Wataru glances around the room again, looking for the door and finding it directly behind him. Carefully, he stands up, walking to the door, testing the handle. He looks back at the wolf and smiles.] It's not locked. [He opens it, showing the creature that it's unlocked, revealing a hall and letting in the rowdy sounds downstairs.]
A room is no place for a wolf.

[Looking up and back to the door the wolf hesitated, bumping Wataru's hand with his head lightly in thanks.]
