Gavin DeGraw + MAROON5 = PURE SEX
I'm home from school so i can post a mini review...
Last night was the Maroon5 show at the showbox...AMAZING! ^_^
I don't even know where to start or what to say,really.
Uhh. Val, Kate, Jordan, and I went to dinner at Charlie's headed down to the Showbox. Val and I shimmied our way to the front ^_^ as usual!
We came in the middle of Big City Rock's performance, whih wa pretty good. I bought their EP after the show and I'm wuite happy with it. So i guess they're a band to look out for. The lead singer acts like he's the shit though...and not really. lol.
Next was Gavin *sigh* Val and I are so in love. lol. His voice was great and when he sang Marvin Gaye's "Let's get it on" well..let's just say that every girl (and some guys) in the audience wanted to do just that! ^_^ Right before performing "belief" he says "this is about that person that's always there to defend you and stand by you." and Val grabbed my hand and held it throughout the song. Aw! So cute!!! Anyways, he walked past us after his performance and Val said "I love your hat" to him and he looks her in the eye and says "Thanks, baby." Which, of course, makes her have like 5 orgasms ROFL! *Apprently he calls everyone "baby" or "girl" and is cute and affectionate, but let's ignore that for now, ok? ^_^
and then there was MAROON 5. SOOOO GOOOD. ahhh!!!! I called my cell during the show so I could record them singing "She will be loved"...i haven't checked to see if it came out good enough yet...but oh well. My Lord, when Adam (all of them really, i was ust concentrating on Adam!) is on stage....he IS making love. Jesuschristalmighty. BEAUTIFUL is all i have to say. They also sang "Ain't no sunshine" which was great. I didn't bring a camera with me because I didn't wanna have to deal with that, but Kate brought hers and got some decent pics from what i hear. She's supposed to send them to me, so i'll try and post 'em.
Before their encore, Val and I ditched Kate and Jordan to get back to the Merch table to meet Gavin and we chatted with him a little. More Val flirting and me laughing and just adding my two cents really. While back there we had a really great view (the Showbox is an awesome venue!) and they performed a cover of Pharrell's "Frontin'" and it was really sexy. Oh lord. Val and I were dancing away by the Merch table.
* Instead of singing "remember the way my body tastes" he said "i remember the way your pu$$y tastes" after making the statement "i've found that sometimes's it's better to give than to receive". Well, well, Adam- we know how you are in the bedroom now! lol. Anyways...it was kind of a turn on..hahaha.
So yes. that's my shitty review. Gavin DeGraw signed my cd ("Chariot" which you guys need to check out!), called me "baby" and "girl" as well, Maroon5 is pure sex and i love them...

And I'm glad I brought Val because after her week, she needed to get out. Plus, i love concerts with Val. Hell, I like just going out with her in general. I've missed her. Though I see her alot now, i didn't get to spend alot of time with her in high school. And yet we remained best friends and lately i've been noticing why. We've had a couple of talks lately about our friendship and it always turns into "i'm so glad i have you" "we'll always have each other" kind of stuff. makes me happy, i guess. In a time when your whole life is changing, it's always nice to have people who are there for you an always have been.
ok..but time to sleep because i didn't get any last night!!!
