Canada is giving me hell again and i'm probably going to have to run around town for several days when I have a f*cking oral to do and F*CKING EXAMS TO PREPARE, but!
I just got something that makes me happy and hyper and fangirly, so i'm gonna use that good mood and give you an EXTREME PHOTOSPAM of my day in Paris.
Basically our genomics class brought us to the Genoscope yesterday. Had to wake at half past 4 to be at the train at 6 15 so we'd be there at 8 30.
... actually I have no photos of us at 6 am. Which is probably a good thing. It would kill any glamour I might still have had.
So after 2 hours of train there was another hour of running through the Paris metro and RER, and then some walking, and we arrived...
At the genoscope.
And yes, I'm the one waiting like an idiot holding the door while Zeina and Ying were busy taking photos.
Yes, stupid hairdo is stupid. But hey, it was funny and it kept my hair out of my eyes, and most importantly, NECK.
Cue epic day of conferences (with coffee 8D) and then visiting the genoscope, and gods so many PCR cyclers in a single room, i'd never seen that XD
The sequencers were pretty cool too.
And the woman who made us visit the sequencing part was pretty good-looking, but that's off the point.
Anyway I learnt more in a day than in the ret of the semester, about genomics at least. Phail, y/n
So after 6+ hours of confereces and a short visit of the lab, we headed back home.

And THEN we got to Gare de lyon, at which point I sneaked off to have an EPIC HALF HOUR OF DOOM OF DESTINY with No (baelheit ), who will not appear on these photos because I wasn't the one with the camera.
And then I rushed to get in the train XD
Btw TGV is awesome. Lyon/Paris in 2 hours. Say what you want about French Railway Company, but even if they're always on strike, they have pretty cool trains.

Anyway got in Lyon by 10 pm, got the bus and ended up at Be's to try and manage all my mess.
