stalkerwithacap: Pun on stalker with a crush, which he kinda is in 4pm. Also he wears a cap and I'm witty okay.
icanhazdatbolt: it was supposed to be icanhazthunderbolt for lolcat value since she was a kitten, the thunderbolt is an inside joke because not long after she was concieved she ran around defying people and her dream was to learn thunderbolt (Sparkle you idiot you're a physical attacker). I had to make it smaller because lj hates me.
team_bolt: Because Sparkle leads the team.
thegolvesstayon: BECAUSE SILVER NEVER TAKES HIS GLOVES ON, and they actually have even more significance for him than in canon.
leatherstrawhat: was supposed to be leathernstrawhat, the idea is that it's the two things you'll see her with most of the time. Leather for biking and because it covers the skin, straw hat when she needs to go out during the day (which she's doing less right now because summer)
uncorrodible: to match with undegradable and untarnishable. Made funny (or not) by the fact that they got corrupted, degraded and tarnished in canon 8D
sparkleminded: THE SPARKLES ARE OBVIOUS. "minded" because of his illusions, and because his power tends to leave the sparkles in his mind sometimes.
relevantribbons: Because the ribbons more than anything are what makes him feel the switch between boy persona and girl persona. And he has a whole stash of them. Also a joke on his PB being Madoka
And then the joke character...
picksupballs: to go with droppedballs. And because I am shameless with inuendo. I think the credit goes to Connie, I can't remember which one of us came up with the name for sure.
