Almost there
We shipped the car today.
We had our last Father's Office burger tonight with my cousin Timmy. I topped it off with some PinkBerry and now I'm sufficiently stuffed for about the next twelve hours. I have NEVER had a bad burger here in LA. Be it the $2 In-n-Out burger or the $18 burger at Rustic Canyon, I haven't have a bad one. It makes up for all the bad pieces of pizza I've had I guess. I'll have to try to recreate it. I need: ground filet, gruyere, roquefort, arugula, carmelized onions and a french roll.
More good news...I spoke to my landlord today. He rented the place already for September. He's going to give me back my full deposit (barring any damages of course). What a relief. I can use that money to pay off the credit card debt from the move.
Tomorrow, dinner with Eliot and Caroline, two friends from Mahalo. It will be nice to get out for dinner as much as possible. There's lots to do here but you need a break at the end of the day.
