that's fair although - i know comparing him to bellhorn isn't the most accurate assessment one can make, and i'm using bellhorns 2004 stats, not his 2005, which were obviously dismal (thank god mfy picked him up) - but just allow me that for a minute. Adam Dunn 2004 - 108BB, 195 ks, .266BA, .388OBP. Mark Bellhorn 2004 - 88BB, 177ks, .264BA, .373OBP. speaking STRICTLY in terms of these numbers, we know full well that Bellhorn was a pretty big hinderance. (no needto make the point that he wasn't smashing hrs on his other abs - i know) All I'm saying is, is this something the sox want to take on? Maybe it is. True i'd rather have k's than gidp... I don't know. I accept the 114 walks, its not good to harp on one specific statistic... but 195k's is a ridiculous number. I'll take it on my fantasy team - maybe not on my real team. Something needs to be fixed there. And though theres no statistical evidence to this (maybe there is, i'm too lazy to look it up), its my opinion that k's are major detriments to rallies. Go ahead. prove me wrong.
Totally forgot that hunter snapped his leg in half at the end of hte season. great point. I'll have to think about that. Could be Cameron Syndrome.
