I love nintendo games so I guess a DS lite was necessary. It is one of the best hand held gaming devices. The game I bought with it was New Super Mario Brothers and if you love Mario games you'll totally love this one There is another game that Dave mentioned to me called Trauma Center: Under the knife and in the game you perform surgies, its pretty intense but an awesome game. Then last night Dave surprised me and bought Animal Crossing which is pretty fun too its just like the gamecube version. Its such a fun little toy.
