yai-2: snap, crackle, pop and soonts
yesterday maia and i went out for tea. maia is amazing - a talented and caring person who knows how to have fun. she told me she was'nt a stand out drama student at standford, but i just can't see that from working with her this summer. i feel very lucky to have gotten to know her and call her my friend. our scene has come a long way. we both know what we need to do tomorrow for it to be where it needs to.
i'm very excited for the showcase - everyone has grown so much this summer and it really shows through our work. i also feel extremely proud to have worked with rita again, she gave us all an unbelievably generous gift, i still can't believe it.
sheila and alyssa, you have been so helpful and encouraging. watching shock brigades made me realize all the more how much i want to continue the work i started two years ago.
