If you're ever in London, be sure to go to the Camden Lock Markets.
It's an amazing place, especially if you're a goth, punk, loli, raver, or hippie. It's like the markets of Thailand... with a UK twist. I think half the shopkeepers wake up in the morning and smoke a joint just to make it smell homely to the teenagers. Like the scent of baking bread for a younger generation.
I was good and only bought a jacket, shirt, and furry, rainbow leg-warmers, although there were heaps of awesome things. :P

I scheduled these two extra weeks here with the intent of museuming myself into a coma, and I'm very nearly there. I've been all over the V&A, which was awesome. They just had the grand opening of their ceramics wing, so I was quite pleased about that, even though the special exhibition on the history of hats had gone. :(
What I really appreciate about the V&A is their holistic approach to art. They have architecture and dance and theatre and jewelry and fashion as well as classic sculpture and such. It's everything a museum should be.
I made a silly stop-motion animation there, which was fun and can be viewed on my Facebook. I want a stop-motion animation program. :)
I've also been to the Science museum again, The British Library, the British Museum, the Fashion and Textile Museum, and the Tate modern.
The British Library was neat, I got to look at original documents from Da Vinci, Beethoven, and others, as well as the original handwritten and illustrated copy of Alice in Wonderland. The one thing that pissed me off, however, was the idiot with the rubber B.L. stamp and the red ink.... WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU STAMP EVERY SINGLE FREAKING PAGE OF LEONARDO DA VINCI'S SKETCHBOOK?!?!?
It's vandalism and it makes me mad. >:(
Anyhow... yeah... exhausted from waking up early to go into London and walk around all day and develop a throbbing headache and stuff my brain full of other people's art.
Taking a rest day to watch anime and be a lazy bum and re-color my hair because all the pink-haired girls up at the markets made me miss mine. :P
