An Unexpected Delight
Once in a while, the internets throw me a gem.
Thanks to LJ Spotlight, I just stumbled upon a most wonderful story:
The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making.
It's by this lovely woman, yuki_onna, and I highly recommend it.
One of my very favorite books is the Phantom Tollbooth, and this story reminds me of it in strange and wonderful ways. It's a brilliant piece of work and I am enjoying it to no end.
