But for now God wants us to trust Him in our disappointments, and let Him turn our pain into a passion to persevere.

Sounds great, but not always so easy.

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ (1 Pet. 1:13)

Sounds great, but not always so easy.

But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

Sounds great, but not always so easy.

The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. (Ps. 145:15)

Oh, so that's why it's not always so easy.  The Lord chooses the timing, and we must choose to trust Him.  Instant gratification is our natural desire, however, i think back and cannot recall a time when immediate pleasure was ever good for me...especially not in the long run.  let us be patient and practical.  God made us, loves us, and knows what's best.  It's only logical, therefore, that He will bless us with whatever it is we are waiting for at the right time.
