Grey clouds darkened the orange sunrise. Very soon, it began to softly rain, and drops began to pelt quietly against a yellow umbrella, causing one of its sheltered to grumble in annoyance.
“Such agreeable weather,” mumbled Severus, huddling closer to himself (though consciously, but seemingly unconsciously, to his companion).
A small smile filled the side of Remus’ mouth as he pressed it against the smooth grey hair of the other man, “Isn’t it?”
Their breathing grew more ragged, and more than once, Remus winced at the creaking of his bones, the soreness of his muscles. This did not go unnoticed.

Severus paused, “I hope you don’t think me too severe for insisting upon this walk. I know it doesn’t agree with your joints, but Healer Rojish maintained that this would be good for you - for us. I’m just - the healer specifically said -“
“I know,” smiled Remus tiredly, “For 78 years Severus, rain or shine, snow or frost, friendly-fire or otherwise” - at this Severus snorted - “I have not once complained about our walks together. Besides, I know you only insist on this so that I could keep my dashing figure.”
Severus snorted, then quickly kissed a wet cheek, “Yes, exactly.”
