However, since there are quite a few new members, I figured I'd make a post to better define what Little Inklings is about.
I'm sure you've all read the community outline where it says this is a multifandom community, but we're also open to any pairing (i.e., het, slash, femslash). I'm not going to create a het, slash, or femslash tag, because I hope you'll all specify your pairing in the subject of your post and I'll create a tag for it if one doesn't already exist. If you think having those tags would be better, feel free to speak up.
Now, on to why we're here. It's all about inspiring others by sharing your ideas. As I'm sure most of you understand, inspiration has a mind of its own and can take you in all different directions. That being said, which I mentioned in the community outline but just to make sure we're clear, if you're bothered by the thought of someone using your idea for a different fandom, pairing, or maybe just taking it to a place you never imagined it would go, then it's probably best you keep that little bit of inspiration to yourself until you're ready to write it. If you could care less how it's used, you just want it out of your head, then by all means post! I have so many ideas and I'm more than happy to give them away to someone who might actually make use of them. It clears out a bit of the clutter in my brain.
Also, a lot of communities have different events to help get things going, and I would love to do something. Best I could come up with so far is a genre themed idea challenge (e.g., alternate universe idea week). But if you have any other suggestions, please make them :)
