Someday, I will identify what it is about today's society that turns people old by the time they're 17.
I sometimes wonder if it has to do with older times, when people were married and starting familys on their own by the time they were 15, but then contrast that with the way current times make a big deal out of letting kids be kids and it requires closer looking. I often think that's the whole letting kids be kids thing is all talk and little to no real action. We say that, and then we push and push and push to have more the younger you are, even going so far as to make it a requirement--the way we are constantly threatened with not being able to get anywhere later if we don't behave like now is later. It robs us of our years, and sometimes forces us to think that we can live in reverse (have fun later as apposed to now) but the whole point of having fun now is that we typically won't be able to have fun later.
That may not make any sense because it's part of a much longer thing inside my head, but whatever.

But most of all - I wish I could make you feel young all the time. I wish you didn't have to work or worry about money.
Unfortunately, these worries will always be apparent... And all I can really say is no matter what I'll always be behind you. Trying my best.
I'm here no matter what time it is if you need to talk - Or rant.
I love you, Edwin.

In other news: you can ice skate?
Okay that wasn't news....whatever!
Edwinian, I'm thinking of you and her a lot. You are both in the best place of my heart and I have a good feeling about you in general.
You'll be fine. Hell you know that I bet.
But uh, never hurts to hear it lots from others too, ne?
I'll make you watch Ouran High Host Club when I get back. It's the best kind of crack you'll ever find. And it will make you smile.
Hmmm....
What else?
Coming back to the city tomorrow.
Stay strong.
Love.
