Happy New Year!
Whoa.
It has been about 6 weeks since my last entry. It has been too long. And I missed out writing down so many good things!!!
Michael and I had a WONDERFUL first Christmas! We started some of our own traditions, decorating the tree and house. We are going to take down the decorations this weekend. Christmas was hectic due to work and trying to balance our time with both of our families. That is the main reason I have been so out of touch. Hopefully now that things have finally begun to quiet down I will have time to get some things I so desperately need to get done around the house. Finally get together with people (TOM!!!) Because I have been so bonkers. This week coming up is still busy because we have inventory at work and I may even be taking my first little business trip up to Vermont to run a store up there for a couple of days so I am pretty excited about that.
The new year has started off pretty good. Michael and I are doing great. Making some lifetime plans. No official engagement yet, but that is about 6-10 months away. He did ask me to marry him on New Years (at like 12:03) And I said yes, but we are going to wait for a ring and the official getting down on one knee thing but it is going to happen. I have already been asked and said yes! So I can wait for him to save some money and he wants to think of a more special way to do it. So that is all good by me!
Michael threw out his back on Monday so this week has been spent playing Florence Nightingale. It's been hard trying to balance that plus work. I was supposed to have tomorrow off, but Michael needed me more today since he was having extreme diffculty moving around. I have quit smoking. And it is actually going well. Michael had quit to but because of his back he went back to smoking. I have been chewing the gum and everything and so far so good. I have only had 3 cigarettes since Jan. 1st. And I am back to the fitness plan. Since I got a 20 Gig Ipod for Christmas from my mom and her boyfriend John it makes it fun to walk. So much good music to choose from! I am looking forward to a year of new beginnings. New job, New life with Michael, New Hot Bod, Nicotine Free and hopefully to start building up a saving for a wedding and a house we can buy!
So many things going on I can't even keep them all straight!!!
