huzzah!
first i will start off with... ooo look new user pic. gabe smiles all the time and its freakin cute as hell. true story.
my babies are killing my back and left shoulder. seriously. i have a nice history of back problems but i havent stayed on top of it because ...well shit a bitch needs heatlh insurance to do all that. and with the constant lifting and carrying (i favor my left shoulder as the baby side) the pain is just increasing at a rapid rate were rest and drugs arent cuttin it. but that is depressing i have other awesomeness to discuss...
john got a new job!! an IT job!! so he didnt get that loan, take the classes, pass the certification tests for nothing...woohoo. this is great news on many levels. no more back breaking labor working concrete for the family company anymore. i think we may have a ceremonial burning of the ol work clothes. plus this means better wages, and benefits. and even more exciting... a move. the job is in richmond so for now he will make the 40 minute commute but eventually we will be moving to either the northside or westside of richmond, va. as long as i am getting out of this shithole i'm down with it. for awhile we thought later this year we would be moving to northern virginia dc metro area (manassas/woodbridge area potentially) for a job there but this will be a better opportunity to start with. we really really needed this. such relief i feel. ahhhhh.
what mother fucker is addicted to project runway? oh i am...big time. i'm really not much of a reality tv whore...or a tv whore in general but every wednesday i am freakin glued to the personalities on this show. for those who dont know its a reality game/talent show if you will looking for "the next great american designer" these people are crazy talented and just plain crazy... i love every bit of it plus i love tim gunn. but the show is almost over and i was about to be all tragically sad about it BUT after this weeks episode they premiered project jay which is a reality show following the winner of last years project runway. brilliant. because i heart jay. i love fashion design. i love wild characters. and i love gay men. so obviously this show is on Bravo. ;)
