This morning I took my mom & brother to a Cambodian New Year Parade. Call me prideless, but I thought it was really boring. It didn't seem like there was enough Cambodian culture in it in my opinion. Seemed like mostly sponsors & organizations riding around it cars with banners. I enjoyed it even less cause I got a blister on my heel from my shoes (which is NOT going to be fun since I have ballet tomorrow). (*sigh*) But I guess that was my fault (*shrugs*). At least I'll be smart enough to wear comfortable shoes for the festival next weekend (or maybe not ^^ since I haven't worn my new wedges yet & I'm looking for an opportunity to wear them...)
After I drove my mom around grocery shopping I played Final Fantasy III some more then I finally decided to fix that purse I've been working on (I completely forgot about it until Chloey asked about it one day.) I made it a little smaller since it looked odd with no support. I can't fit my sketchbook in there anymore, but I am so much more happy with how it looks now. When Daron taught us how to make it it was an extra project to do while the class got caught up so we didn't use interfacing or anything so it sags a bit. Its impossible to get a picture of it right now (bad lighting in the room cause its night time) but I'll update with a picture tomorrow.
Hilarious thing happened today: my brother comes into my room & says "I have a problem...I dropped my belt into the toilet...& I didn't flush it when it happened." He told me like I was going to do anything about it (& he took a dump!---not just a piss, a dump!). I don't know how he got it out (haha) but he did. I told him he had to get it out cause it might clog. Then he told my mom, then my dad. damn...what a dumbass.
I had my sister dye my hair yesterday & sadly the red isn't what I expected it to be. I mean, the sample hair at the store was RED! When she dumped the dye to mix it, it was a berry color. When she applied it & I washed it out it looked like I just got murdered in the tub cause it was running a blood red color. And when I finally dried my hair...it looks black! T_T I suppose the red undertone is more visible in the sun, but I was expecting RED! Oh well.
Ah! As for a "fashion update" with me, I want to give decora & fruits a try :) Just thought its something I should mention. I still like lolita, but I think I want decora might be my more causal wear. It seems easier to compromise when it comes to decora & such.
Now that I'm done sewing I think I'll go play more FF III :D!
PS: still anticipating the arrival of my swimmer headphones (damn you Japanese postal service! Deliver faster!!! Guess that's the price you have to pay when using celga too.)
