games & drawings
So a LONG time ago Chan's cousin gave him his XBOX & said to Chan "if you can fix it you can have it." So Chan fixed it but the only problem with it was that it wouldn't turn off unless you unplug it. Naturally, Chan already owned an XBOX at the time & he didn't need two so he gave it to me along with his Dance Pad & DDR. Basically, I owned an XBOX, dance pad, & DDR---NO OTHER GAMES.
While I was in Hawaii my brother asked me if he could tinker with it. I hadn't really touched it since I got it so I said sure. My brother fixed & now its in perfect working order (power button & all). So, Danny wanted to buy a controller & game for it. He plans to mod it & just download games for it & such. Apparently Splinter Cell has some sort of thing in it that allows you to do this. So he made me hunt on eBay & junk. I was feeling occupied with coloring a drawing so I was kinda bleh about doing it.
When I eventually couldn't figure out what colors I wanted I hopped on eBay & newegg.com. We found a few controllers for like $5.00 bucks but they were located in China so I was somewhat skeptical & found him other ones at about $15 & we found splinter cell for about $7.00 (but Danny was being a cheap ass & was only willing to spend like $20 altogether yet he wanted them this instant). Then it hit me & I was like...."why don't we just hit the store?! Gameplay ALWAYS have hardware for cheap!" So we hopped in my car & went~!
I drove to Gameplay & we got him the game & a controller. The controller was about $17.00. BUT the game was like .96 cents (good find or what?! XD). I saw Final Fantasy Anthology for PS One & glittered my eyes at my little brother & nagged him to buy it for me :D It was a used copy but I don't care~! So we came home & tested Splinter Cell & the controller & they worked. While he played SC I took out FFA & opened it just to look at the booklet & discs. I opened it up.................
.........& it was empty D:
So I'm frantically calling them & I was like "ag baelzibgz;lrize;87wE:(w;E---WHERE'S MY FUCKING FINAL FANTASY ANTHOLOGY?! asdbgl igyW;IEGU9[W;4EG9WE?!?!?!?!?!?!" (obviously not in those exact words XD) I gave them my name & such & I'm picking it up tomorrow. Man, I was actually going to start it tonight too. TT__TT
Looking at it now I've really lost my desire for gaming & I think RPG's like Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts will be the only games I play for a while. There was a time when I loved video games more than lolita (OMG UNHEARD OF!) But I suppose since the 360, Wii, & PS3 & even the DSi came out I felt a little left in the dust. And I honestly don't think there's any games on those systems I'm just dieing to have that makes me want to buy a new console. In fact, I think I'll want a PSP more than any of the current consoles but that will becomes outdated in no time too. I just want it for Final Fantasy Dissidia. I also need to finish playing:
-FF VIII
-FF III
-FF XII
-Tomba
-Vagrant Story
-Kingdom Hearts 2
-We Love Katamari
(Wow, how can I call myself a gamer if I didn't finish THAT many games ;A;. And these are only the games I WANT to finish.)
