So, I cheated. I had "resolved" to lose weight and get in shape naturally, ie simply changing my eating and exercise habits. But the weight really did not seem to go anywhere. I don't know if it's because of muscle weighing more than fat... but the end result of me eating less and exercising mostly regularly for 3 months in a row was: I lost MAYBE 2 solid pounds (once you average out the insane weekly fluctuations) and I still can't fit into the clothes I want to fit into.
So, on to the chemical assistance! ._.
I'm trying the SlimQuick drink mix stuff, jump-started by the SlimQuick 7-day cleanse. I'm still on the cleanse (meaning, I poop a lot!), and I've lost about 5 pounds of crap. I don't care, I count it, haha. And I already look/feel slimmer. I am still keeping on the exercise and eat-gud thing too. I'm hoping to lose at least 5 pounds before the cruise =\ Far less than I had hoped. You'd think 4+ months would have been plenty of time to lose 20 pounds EASILY, but apparently not.
Chris and I are going to start taking walks every night when I get home, before dinner and Wow raiding. When at my leanest and meanest, I was walking like 5+ miles a day (at school in VA, huge downtown campus and no buses running after 10pm, when I got out of work at 11-12 midnight x|). I think I weighed 160 or something at that point, and I've love to get back to it. Without the poverty-stricken, under min wage job, eating ramen provisions.
It's funny that I didn't consider myself thin or in-shape even at THAT point; I must have been really concerned about TEH FRESHMAN 5 and TEH SOPHOMORE 10 to not even notice that I was actually losing instead of gaining that weight, rofl.
