GIMME SOME WORK
Today is (I think) my last day of normal work at what has so far been my absolute favorite workplace. I was told on Monday that there just isn't enough work right now to keep me on as a part-time hourly employee, which really blows. Apparently it's a combo of the other fulltime graphic designer not working up to par, the sales people not doing shit, and a slow season in general.
Some arrangement is being made to give me work on a project-to-project basis... It'll be great, because I won't have to deal with clients directly, but it'll suck because I'll basically have NO WORK until a new contract comes in, or a client wants a complete redesign of the card. Which essentially means I'm out of work for at least a month.
Put in my resume for a couple places for design and just office admin stuff. Hopefully someone will get back to me soon.
