I regularly watch the news for articles of strange and potentially paranormal goings-on, and usually I just show these to my sister and then forget about them. I've decided to start posting these when I find articles of interest, mainly because I'd love to get other perspectives on these events and articles! So here's my batch for today:
※ Doctors Baffled By Girl Who Doesn't Age
Brooke Greenberg looks and acts like a toddler, but she just turned sixteen years old. Frozen in time with no change to her physical or mental biology, Brooke is the first of her kind in recorded medical history. Her parents believe that she may hold the key to eternal youth for other people, too. When asked about how long Brooke will live, her doctor says, "That's kind of a crystal ball question. There's no way of knowing." Read the article and watch a video about Brooke
here at ABC news.
You can't help but wonder how long she will live, and if she'll ever age at all. What if it's like dog years, only reversed? For every sixteen human years, Brooke ages one year? You never know. I'd like to see where this goes. Ten bucks says she's a vampire.
※ W.Va. Woman Wins 9th Lottery Prize
"This week, the 60-year-old South Charleston woman claimed her ninth West Virginia Lottery prize, $7,000 in the Gem 7s instant game. That brings her total winnings since last September to $159,000 from five instant tickets. Lottery officials say Bailey has claimed a total $165,800 in prizes from instant and online games since 2000. She's not the only lucky one in the family. Her husband Richard claimed a $6,000 instant game prize in January and a $10,000 prize last September." From

alligator foot!
※ Michael Jackson's Ghost On Larry King Live?
During a tour of Neverland on Larry King Live, the camera picks up a strange shadow moving at the end of the hallway. Watch the video
here, sorry about the campy spooky music they've put on but it's the best video I've found of the clip. On first watch it seems pretty impressive, but you have to remember that there's likely a lot of people in the house filming it and it could very well be the shadow of someone walking across the room at the end, reflected on the far wall. Definitely not conclusive evidence of anything, but certainly interesting.
※ Haunted Milwaukee Hotel Scares MLB Players
The Pfister Hotel is apparently giving some baseball players the heebie jeebies, to the point where quite a few MLB men won't even stay at the hotel. "Even if I come into town for FanFest or whatever, I'm staying somewhere else," said Brewers center fielder Mike Cameron, who moved his family to another hotel after one night last offseason. Baseball players are
infamously superstitious, but it is cute to hear the boys trading their spooky stories with NBC Sports News. Read it

※ Strange Creature In North Carolina Sewer
This video is just baffling. Taken by a robotic camera snaked into the sewer, it shows weird twitching masses that look CREEPILY like pre-hatched gremlins. Just watch those things move and try not to throw up in your mouth a little. Also, it might be pertinent to remember that
two nuclear bombs dropped onto North Carolina soil in 1961, and though they didn't go off, one went so deep into the ground that it was left there and could be leeching into the groundwater of North Carolina. Now
take a look at that video.
