Watching something on Caligula on the history channel makes you feel kinda normal.

halloween always slightly saddens me. I miss how it was when i was a kid. Being so excited, dressing up and going trick or treating... ya know? eh this past weekend was quite fun though - if not just funny. Saturday we went to Joe's place to see a few people play. The first group sucked really hard, the Nicotones weren't bad at all, and Steve's band was hilarious. The whole band being half drunk (or in his case totally drunk) made it totally worth seeing, even though they weren't playing amazing or anything. AND it was so so so cute! Steve's bandmate proposed to his girlfriend right in the middle of playing and he got all mushy and it was so sweet the way it happened. If someone hadn't been drunk as fuck and almost totally blew it by yelling out something like "why don't you just propose to her and get it over with" right in the middle of it.. it would have surprised everyone completely. Funny kid.
Sunday we went downtown to another show. Wasn't fucking awesome or anything but worth it. Yet again, it was funny at least. And walking around downtown wasn't without its laughs either. going to wendys late in my boots, striped tights, makeup and everything wasn't on the list of things to do but eh it felt good to come home and put on my pjs afterwards. wee
