Wow... what a week..
This week has been crazy not only on the home front, but on the national and global level too...
First off, I want to offer my sympathy to anyone who lost someone (or experienced any sort of injury) in the tragedy in Virginia... my heart goes out to you, I just wish that there was something that I could do other than offer my condolences.
Now, here's something odd and strange... my "little brother" was mugged Sunday night.
He was walking while listening to his headphones and someone ran up behind him, knocked him over, and took his phone and wallet.
His shoulder hurts, and he was rattled, but since he doesn't keep anything much in his wallet, he's not down much (just a 2 dollar bill and a silver note)...
On the home level, Rowan's iron level is low... Pooka's was low when she was young, and mine dips into the low range a good bit... so iron therapy for the little girl who's already blocked up. Poor thing... I'll have to ask for another refill of the laxative when she starts the iron.
On the Rowan note, she's 1 now! I'm going to take pic's of her eating her birthday cake tonight. Hopefully I'll post a few too..
My birthday was fun.. we had a good time... I don't know what else to say about it, but the presents i got were AWESOME... i love all of them...
As for the presents, i got: A pack of socks that have sculls wearing bows on them; two sets of chopsticks with nice silk sleeves, a pretty sun-catcher that looks like a chinese dress, and a lovely purple phone charm that's also in the shape of a chinese dress; I also got Cooking Momma for the DS...
So, some pretty brilliant gifts... *happy beams all around*
