Anne Rice is the author who introduced me to slash in the first place, so it's ony fair that I dedicate my first LJ post to her. My favorite Anne Rice book has to be "The vampire Armand", which is about a young man (Armand) with the face of a Botticelli angel meeting the great vampire Marius.
After reading her most of the Vampire Chronicles it kind of spiraled downhill (or uphill?). If it weren't for Anne Rice, I would never have started to read Buffy/Angel fanfiction, then Supernatural and now SUITS fics. Suits, the tv show that has now consumed my life completely.
Anne Rice stated in an interview once that she is a gay man trapped inside of a woman's body, and man doesn't that describe most of us in the Suits fandom!
