I imagined if Tonks ever went to the Yule Ball during her time at Hogwarts, she would've liked to don a pretty gown. At the same time, I thought she might pick out a gown which was somewhat girlish but also a little pixie-ish. x)
The back of the dress was inspired by the King Lear play I recently saw at the Esplanade, by the RSC, with Sir Ian McKellen as Lear. (: It was a great performance, although I didn't really like how Cordelia was portrayed. It made me realise that with the single same script, you can interpret a character in a thousand different ways.
Okay that was out of point.
I haven't read HP7 and I really don't know what's going to happen. O_O
*You can see words in the drawing because I use recycled paper to do my 'sketchbook' drawings. (Except in this one, I tried to minimise it since it was a white background and I oculd cut out some chunks.) I have a HEAP of recyclable paper after I graduated from junior college. I thought it'd be a waste to just chuck them all in the bin so I recycled them. :/
She probably tripped over some table next. x)
