9 Months and 14 days

It's been a while since I last posted an entry... Here goes...

Isobelle is now 9 months old. She has 2 bottom teeth. She loves being in her walker. She loves Sesame Street. She loves to chew on her toys. She's just plain awesome!

I love coming home to see her. I don't get to spend a lot of time with her, but when I do, I'm totally in another world. I work 40 hours a week, so my time with her is limited. By the time I get home, I cook dinner, wash dishes, feed her, give her a bath, and really, the only time we have on a weeknight is when I put her to sleep. That's when I get a chance to really hold her, and talk to her.

We started putting her in her room. She'll sleep on her own until about 2 in the morning. And being the tired parents that we are, we just pick her up and put her back in our bed. I know that's a bad thing, but seriously? She's only a baby once! And I'd like to be able to enjoy her as a baby as much as I can.

She loves to sing. She sings herself to sleep a lot. It's really cute. And you can practically have a one on one conversation with her... If you understand baby talk and all. But she's learning all kinds of words... She just started saying "Buh-bye". SO CUTE! She says "mama", "dada", "daddy", and my all time favorite "yeah!".

Motherhood is really awesome! I sort of was really anxious at first, but everyday, I see something new with Isobelle. She makes me happy and forget about all my problems!
