CONCERT REPORT: Yellow Fried Chickenz in Amsterdam - 27th July 2011
Yeah, you read it right. This report is almost year late. Blame on my busy life and kind of lack of mood for livejournal and soe other stuff happening meantime. But I was kind of of sure I am going to write something one day. And that day is here :)
Of course it won´t be the fresh feeling writting report shortly after live, but I can look at this concert a little bit retrospective and well, my memory is luckily quite good.

Once again the concert was happening shortly after our holiday with my dear (lol back then) boyfriend joostmusic, who is nowadays my fiancé. xD I told ya I´ve been busy past year. :P It was almost same case like previous year in Paris, I have report from Paris concert here: http://littleflapper.livejournal.com/363325.html
We decided to take it easy, not queue and enjoy the concert from back, because the venue (Melkweg) was small anyway.
Other reason was also we were way too tired after traveling from England, we were on holiday and arrived in the morning the day of concert, not having much sleep on the overnight ferry from England to Netherlands.
Netherlands is my second home country, so I felt happy that YFC was coming here, all more famous Japanese bands keep kind of avoiding Czech republic, but that´s ok.
Well, so we arrived in late afternoon to Amsterdam and still had dinner before concert. Joost brought there his old Dutch flag with fabulous letters on it: HOLLAND LOVES GACKT. Yeah I hope you don´t mind there was not written YFC, because that flag was really old and Joost is fan since about 2000. I though its quite symbolic as Gackt and YFC made it to Holland, why not let our friends sign the flag and then throw it to stage. The flag story to be continued later.

Then we spotted scarlet_penta who was more doing bodyguard of her dear friend seigan_aurora , who was waiting there all night also with anei_no_tsuki . Scarlet decided to take it easy and spend the concert in the back with us. I spotted also es_chan waiting a bit in the back too. Later joined us also Joost´s friends Sebas and Petra. Before staff let people get in, we managed to reach girls in front and let them sign the flag. Then we went again back to back. Shortly afterwards people could uhm run inside, well the first ones, then we walked in too later. As expected it was rather small place, so only thing I did was buying one of YFC bags to put my jacket and Joost´s jacket inside, because it was really hot inside. I went to toilet, got my cider and the live could begin! xD

I am probably not going back to songs too much, I enjoyed entire live and I was surprised how Episode.0 sounded rather good live, because I didn´t really liked that song when it was released. And overall the live was great, it´s already well known what was happening, becuse as I am writting this report so late, there´s been even DVDs released already. My favourite song was really awesome 妄想-GIRL which is song I am really unhappy about what happened with it on the album. I mean, it was FREAKIN AWESOME live, but overedited album with massive sound effects...nah T_T But atmosphere during concert was awesome, I was dancing, some time I even made it closer to stage and could feel hotness happening there. ALL MY OVE song is beautiful and it was really beautiful even more during live.
Too bad what happened to HOLLAND LOVES GACKT flag, Emmy threw it to stage, but staff took it away to backstage immediately and guys came up with different flags later, so no idea if they threw it away or what happened with it afterwards. hopefully guys at least saw it after the live.
After live ended I still told my friends bye before we left the venue, but also got those:
But not that I caught them, but I simply found them on the floor after the live. :P Cha plectrum I gave to Joost.
Overall, this concert was great end of our vacation :D And later that summer me and Joost visited also infamous EROTIC MUSEUM now also known from Platinum Box xD
