ibook help
My dad wants to get a replacement ibook (used/refurb) and I'm somewhat clueless on Macs now-a-days. Okay, kinda clueless on computers in general. ;P
Here's what he needs:
-Airport
-Use of Garage Band (his current ibook freezes up when he uses it, so boo)
-Otherwise, mostly just using for basic functions like for e-mail, word processing, etc.
Cost:
-Wants to spend $400-$600 dollars
Wants:
-As much memory and processing speed as possible for that price, but he's not sure:
a) How this translates into tech terms, i.e. what parameters should be looking for/at
b) Where he should be looking, e.g. Craigslist, etc.
