Ack. Huge emergency. I am freaking out.
Yesterday I spent six hours revising and finalizing several of my medical school secondary applications. I continually saved the document.
Problem is, it was originally opened through an e-mail attachment and not saved separately. I've made this stupid mistake before and found the document in my temp files, but for whatever reason this particular one is completely gone. I found the cache of it, but when I open it it is all code mumbojumbo.
Example:
charset UTF-8 ‘ _Fó0ˆFó0ˆG+åu Zœ + ìHTTP:

Is there some way to convert this into, you know... English? Or maybe do a system restore to yesterday evening? Or maybe, since I opened the attachment through gmail, gmail magically saved it somewhere different or something? HALP! PLEASE! I am totally panicking. :( :( :(
I am so over this. I just want this to be over and done with.
