Please say hello to MERLIN!!!
We have had two Australian Shepherds for many years. Both are rescue dogs. Sassy, who is a little over 9 years old was rescued by a friend in Saint Louis and given to us. Denali who we believe to be in his mid-teens was rescued from the Mojave animal shelter about a little over 3 years ago. All the vet could say was that he was at least 8 and probably older.
Well our Denali is still healthy but starting to fade, he mainly wants to sleep. Sassy need exercise so Ross and I had been talking about a new dog. We love Aussies but we love pound puppies more. Just on a whim I got an urge to look at the Mojave web site to see what dogs were available and I found Merlin! He ia a purebred Aussie, they think because his poor tail is docked. He is 1 to 2 years old and very sweet . Ross went to get him and now he has a home!!!
