Oh wow.

I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant to click on the link when I read Narnia/VM crossover, because how could that possibly work? But it does, it works so beautifully! You've captured the sadness inherent in both characters so well, but without overdoing it and then just given just that little bit of light at the end.

It's just lovely, I don't think there's any other word for it.

That was very interesting. Very different, but very nice, and I quite liked it. Great Veronica voice, and wonderful atmosphere. Thank you for sharing! :)

!!! How did I miss this back when you wrote it? It was an amazing thing to find early in the morning, anyway. It's very . . . atmospheric? Noir-ish? I just woke up, and therefore reserve the right to be inarticulate. I loved it lots, at any rate.

Veronica/Susan, who would have thought? Well, you, clearly, but it's really a very cool story you have here. Veronica doing her running away thing, just to find someone who's done the same.

"I suppose I never could stay away from boys and lipsticks," Susan murmurs, and indeed her lips are red, like blood and not roses. "It's my trouble." I haven't read any other Narnia fic, but I love these lines so much. Oh Susan.
