*blows dust off journal* In case you're wondering where the custom mood theme I've had for the past bazillion years has gone, my old webhosting gave up the ghost at last. I'll fix it when not at my parents', which is where I am now!
Life is going well. The first month of school is almost over and I am in love with my kindergarteners. I know I say this about every class, but it's true every time. Starting next month, I'll also be attending monthly meetings to help develop the new curriculum. I replaced my old, constantly in need of repairs car with a newer used car, christened Luna in honor of the new Sailor Moon anime. All of my shoes have worn out at the same time, so I've been spending a dangerous amount of time comparing Fluevogs. (I PINE.) I miss Australian coffee and hanging out with my antipodean friends. The weather has been gorgeous and I've been running again after a brief break to start the school year.
I've also been getting an absurd amount of writing done!
genarti and I keep hanging out in cafes and not talking to each other except to giggle over each other's writing.
fahye commissioned my ridiculous Les Mis DJ AU from me, and The People Sing has taken over my life. She's also remixing it as I write it, and I'm remixing her remix or something meta like that. I have my assignments for
femslashex and
miserableholidays as of yesterday, and secret_mutant and
yuletide are just around the corner. I haven't forgotten about my massive Glee S3 rewrite, but it's been nice to see other fandoms for a bit.
